Air, ocean and RoRo freight forwarding from the UK to every continent

Shipping Rates

Shipping Rates from the United Kingdom

Guide pricing for vehicles on RoRo, full and shared containers, and air cargo by chargeable weight. Every figure below is a starting point — your written quote is fixed against a named sailing or flight.

Freight pricing has three parts: the carrier's ocean or air rate, the charges raised at each end by the terminal and the agent, and the customs work required to move the cargo legally. We quote all three together, because a headline freight rate on its own tells you very little about what a shipment actually costs.

Container shipping rates

Full container loads are the most economical way to move a household, a workshop or a pair of vehicles. Shared groupage suits part loads of one to fifteen cubic metres, where you pay only for the space your cargo occupies.

Air freight rates

Air cargo is charged on whichever is greater: the actual weight or the volumetric weight calculated as length by width by height in centimetres divided by 6,000. Rate bands step down as the consignment gets heavier, which is why consolidating two shipments into one booking often costs less than sending them separately.
