Air freight moves cargo in days rather than weeks. We use scheduled passenger belly space for smaller consignments, dedicated freighter capacity for pallets and oversized pieces, and charter aircraft where nothing else will hit the date. Departures run from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, East Midlands, Birmingham and Edinburgh.

Indicative only. Air freight is charged on the greater of actual or volumetric weight (length x width x height in cm ÷ 6,000). Firm rates are confirmed on the day of booking.
How chargeable weight is calculated
Airlines charge for the space a consignment occupies as well as its mass. Divide the volume of each piece in centimetres by 6,000 to get the volumetric weight, then compare it with the scale weight — the higher figure is what you pay for. Light, bulky cargo such as clothing or foam almost always prices on volume, while machinery parts and documents price on scale weight.
